Greetings, Supporters of Scholars Changing Lives,
We're excited to share the incredible progress and achievements of Shanisha's Changing Lives Inc.'s Financial Literacy program, Scholars Changing Lives. The 2023 Spring semester was a remarkable one for us, as we expanded our reach to three different schools, spanning both elementary and high school levels.
During the Spring semester, Scholars Changing Lives had the privilege of teaching financial literacy to students across three different schools. This expansion allowed us to reach a wider range of scholars, enabling us to instill essential money management skills early in their educational journey. We strongly believe that early exposure to financial literacy is key to building a solid foundation for a financially secure future.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our program is receiving feedback from the scholars we work with. We're thrilled to report that many of our scholars had a positive and enjoyable experience learning about finances. One scholar summed it up perfectly: "She makes learning about money fun." This feedback reaffirms our commitment to making financial literacy engaging, interactive, and accessible to young minds.
In 2023, we forged a valuable partnership with the 3D's Community Empowerment Center Summer Camp. This collaboration marked an exciting milestone as we extended our program to teach financial literacy to our youngest audience yet, starting at the tender age of 7.
Our partnership with 3D's Community Empowerment Center allowed us to integrate financial education into their summer camp curriculum, providing campers with practical knowledge and skills that will serve them well throughout their lives. We are grateful for this opportunity to reach children at such a critical developmental stage and empower them with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions.
As we reflect on the accomplishments of the Spring semester and our successful partnership with 3D's Community Empowerment Center, we are more motivated than ever to continue our mission of equipping the next generation with the financial skills they need to succeed. We have big plans for the upcoming academic year, including expanding our reach to even more schools and communities.
